Well known standard protocols, like SMTP, POP3, IMAP4 or HTTP provide the basis for a world wide communication. These protocols are easy to handle and compatible with the frequently used messaging products. This consistent approach enables messaging between different platforms in each corner of the world. It doesn’t make a difference whether you are connected to the internet using a dial-up account or through a router in the local area network. Several network connections can be used and activated automatically if necessary. Multiple transactions can be coordinated to minimize network traffic and save communication cost. A graphical user interface offers intelligent features to setup complex operations with just a mouse click. A wizard driven setup utility creates the basic environment for a working email system.
